Spare parts for the Hunter Herald 6 stove

The Hunter 6 is a middle size stove - available as a wood or multi fuel stove. It is a 1 or 2 door model with high or low canopy or flat top. It is also available as a double sided stove with single depth or double depth to increase the heat output and the crosses on all the Herald range are now removable on the 2 door models - you can just take them off yourself for a plainer view of the fire. The air wash system will keep your glass clean - and should you need to order spares for the stove you will be able to do so on this site - To identify the model please also keep in mind that the stoves are also available with a longer leg - as an optional extra. The multi fuel grate can be in 2 positions 1. The normal multi fuel open grate - which you riddle with an external handle and 2. The bed turns to a flat bed position for wood burning -as wood burns well on a bed of ashes. Keep in mind that there is a 5 and 8 slim line Hunter model available as well. There are many types of Hunter stove with various spares for each type. There are MK1, MK2, Pre CE and CE - many with different spares. How can you tell which is which? Measure the glass and tell us. Count the grate bars or is it a static grate? If it has a metal throat plate then it is a MK1. If it has a board baffle (not metal) then it is a MK11. If the rear brick and baffle touch then it is a MK11. If there is a bar with holes in it inbetween the baffle and brick then it is a C.E. If in doubt contact us with these details! Rope seal for the doors varies according to age of model, older models use a 10mm rope for sealing the doors.
